I thought I would start my 2 part article on a high. I want to list the “7 things I love about Internet Marketing”, next will be the “7 Things I hate about Internet Marketing” (It is not really that bad more frustrate me about internet marketing:)…)

Freedom to be my own boss!!

I have been on both sides I have owned a small family business which was extremely hard work!! 90 hours a week, a very demanding landlord and the heartbreaking site of seeing my family exhausted and struggling to make ends meet. I also have worked for a boss (like most of us) and we all know how demanding and selfish they can be…. I guess they have the right to be, they are technically buying our time!! So for the 8, 10, 12 hours we are at work a day, they are buying our time and they also seem to think they are claiming a stake in our life also…

Being In Control Of My and My familiesâ destiny…..

Being able to control the amount of income I can earn for myself and my family is something that I value and cherish. Not having a boss dictate to me and tell me how much he thinks I am worth, I control that if I want to be worth $20,000 this month I can be. I am not limited to my boss telling me the hours I can work and “Oh, I can’t give you too many hours, itâs been a quite month”.

Working In My Pyjamas ….

Well not quite, but I can wake when I want and work at my own pace. But I don’t work in my pyjamas, I like to work comfortably but find that getting changed into my work gear (shorts and t-shirt ). But working in the comfort of my own home office is a great advantage to have. Not having to fight the peak our traffic is a great bonus too…

Constantly Evolving….

The Internet is constantly changing and so does Internet Marketing! I find this fascinating and it keeps me fresh and excited. There are a lot of brilliant minds out there and they are coming up with fascinating ideas and techniques for us to implement and tweak for our own benefit. So who can work in a job that is so rapidly growing and changing…. I feel very fortunate and blessed to have this.

Meeting Brothers!!…..

The Internet Marketing Community is a close bunch and in that you can form so fantastic long term relationships. And within these relationships you can work together to help each other grow and succeed beyond your wildest dreams!!

Being Paid When I Sleep!!!

Waking in the morning and seeing my bank account has grown is fantastic… Whether a little or a lot I always am thankful to the man upstairs for blessing me with this opportunity. Because we all know if you don’t go to work for your boss you don’t get paid, with Internet Marketing you can be sleeping and still get paid!!!

Internet Marketing Gurus… The 7 Steps To Finding The “Guru” Of Your Dreams!

We here the term “Guru” bantered around a lot.

Internet Marketing Gurus

We here it for various religious or spiritual leaders.

We here it for various business men or successful entrepreneurs.
And we also here it out there a lot in internet marketing circles.

Internet Marketing Gurus are generally men or women who have extraordinary success and most of the time live very comfortable and extremely prosperous lives.

I can here the voice in your head.
How can I find my own “Internet Marketing Guru?”
And if I find my own “guru” can they help me to attain the level of success and help my life and therefore improve the lives of those around me.

Go through the forum take a look at some of the guys who contribute some great information and get in contact with them.

Once you find a potential “Guru” sign up to there list.

Signing up to their list is a great way to see the amount of quality information they give to their list. So you can see firsthand what they are like as “mentors”. Trust me some guys give their lists toooooooooooooo much information, which is great for you and me.

If the product is of a high quality with great information you are well on your way to finding the right person.

• Purchase a product from your prospective “Guru”

Purchasing a product is a great way to get an even bigger feel for the information your guru hands out.

Internet Marketing Info… 7 Crucial Pieces Of Information To Ensure Success!!

The internet is a huge and overwhelming world that us the consumer can become lost in very, very quickly.

Whether we are looking for something to buy from ebay to researching how to make a fulltime living online, we encounter similar hurdles and problems along the way. The problem is that we can suffer from information overload, we may go onto ebay looking for a piece of jewellery as a gift (you could be in the bad books or you may be doing it out of the goodness of your heart) lets hope you are doing it out of the goodness of your heart .

But we type in the search term into the Ebay search engine to find there are 1000’s of listings!!

Everything from

• Gold To Silver
• Modern to Antique
• Read Diamond to a Cubic Zirconia...

Why am i getting at this, well in my early days of trying to make money on the internet. I came across a lot of “Internet Marketing Info”. Some which was good, some which was well… Not so good

You see, I have been through my struggles in life (Don’t get me wrong, God has blessed me with a great life) but I have created many problems along the way and most of my worries were of the “Financial Kind”

I was in $70,000 debt, I saw my parents lose close to $50,000 from a terrible land lord and at that stage I felt very down and depressed. I knew I didn’t want to see my parents struggle and I knew that the conventional way of making money was not as “stable as it used to be”

But one day I was reasearching on Google I wanted to see what other opportunities were out there on how to make money. And I cam across many “Get Rich Quick Products” some which I fell for I might add .

And I hate to think how much I spent on rehashed garbage products, but they all did teach me something , so I should not complain too much.

But all that kept playing in my mind was ;

• That I wanted financial security for my family
• And that I was sick of making others rich (Pre dominately my boss and landlord)

So I have been search far and wide over the last 2 years and I have come across some great informtion on the net and I am going to give you 7 pieces of the puzzle.

Here are my “7 Pieces of Internet Marketing Information”

1. You need to find yourself a mentor. Someone whom you can work with and who has experienced all the ups and downs and can lead you on the path to success quickly. (John Delavera) was a great mentor to me and still is.
2. What you should look out for in a mentor. You need to find a mentor that will help you no matter what, someone who doesn’t charge you per question (Yes some do that!). I am not saying they will do it for free but if you know the outllay up front it makes it far easier to get a plan and then go full steam ahead.
3. Your mentor should help you create your first product. With acquiring the help of a mentor they should help you with everything from getting the right mindset, to learning crucial techniques to help your business, and then lastly helping you to create your own product.
4. That leads me to creating your own product. Creating your own product is crucial to have a sustainable and prosperous career online. You see you make more money, and then you have people working for you so you are the boss not some other merchant whose product you are selling as an affiliate.
5. You must be the boss. You have to build a “team” around you, so you must be the leader of your team “The Guru” , “The Coach”, “The Boss.” You must build a great team around you, you will need to have
   a graphic designer, an article writer and so on and so on. You must have “staff” because without them your business can’t grow.
6. You must have a plan. You have to be accountable, you must have daily, weekly, monthly, half yearly and longer term goals. Which you have to hold yourself accountable for, so if you don’t reach your goals you have to look at yourself and ask why you did not reach them.
7. Treat your internet marketing business as a business. You must realise that because you are on a computer and sitting in your “home office” it does not mean that this is not a serious business, because it is…

And the earlier you see this the better it is for the longevity for you Internet Marketing business….
